It is with great pleasure that the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce announces the selection of Angela Rosenquist as its 2011 ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award recipient. She is currently Vice President of Sales and Marketing with Boboli International, LLC. Angela is a graduate of the University of the Pacific and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership at California Southern University, Irvine with an estimated graduation date of May 2012.

Angela is part owner of Boboli International, LLC, based in Stockton, which has been named a Top Ten new business in San Joaquin County. She is also part owner of Mezzo Enoteca located in Stockton. Angela co-wrote “Angel of Airline Etiquette” with Chris Anderson. Her community service includes Financial Center Credit Union board of directors, Top Ten Fund Drive Worker with Pacific Tigers Athletic Association, Saint Mary’s Interfaith Community Services board of directors and Pacific Alumni Association board of directors to name a few.

The 3rd annual ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award will be presented to Angela Rosenquist at the 25th ATHENA Luncheon on November 17th, 11:30am at the Stockton Golf and Country Club. The ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award is an international leadership award that actively supports and celebrates the ATHENA mission of supporting, developing and honoring women leaders, inspiring women to achieve their full potential – creating balance in leadership worldwide. It is the focus on mentor ship of women that sets the ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award apart from others of its kind.
THE CRITERIA

ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Nominees are emerging women leaders who meet each of the following criteria:

  • Demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in her business or profession
  • Provides valuable service to improve the quality of life for others in her community
  • Clearly serves as a role model for young women both personally and professionally
