CHAMBER
AMBASSADORS:
LIAISON COMMITTEE, WELCOME SQUAD
& MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE
Be
one of the first Chamber members to meet and orient new members
and business people. Be an honored guest at exciting events
throughout Stockton. Help us increase the Chamber's
representation of the business community through recruitment of
new members and retention of existing members. If you want to
work hands-on to meet potential Chamber members who may also be
sales leads for you, plan to attend the next meeting of the
Chamber Ambassadors. Chamber
Ambassadors are a volunteer group of Greater Stockton Chamber of
Commerce members. The overall purpose of the Ambassador program
to recruit new members, help orient the newest Chamber members
and to assist staff with membership retention. To
accomplish these goals, the Ambassadors are divided into three
committees: Chamber Liaisons, Welcome Squad and Membership
Committee. Liaison
Committee: Members
of the Chamber Liaisons personally visit and survey Chamber
members on an annual basis. The surveys give members input on
Chamber programs and improve the Chamber's ability to serve its
members. Welcome
Squad: Members
of the Welcome Squad attend a variety of events hosted by the
Chamber and its members. These include ribbon cuttings, ground
breaking and anniversary celebrations. Photos from Welcome Squad
activities are published in every issue of the Chamber's
newpaper, the Port O
Call. Membership
Committee: Members
of the Membership Committee directly assist Chamber staff with
ongoing recruitment efforts. Membership
in the Chamber Ambassador is open to any member of the Greater
Stockton Chamber of Commerce. Ambassadors meet quarterly,
usually in March, June, September and December. Chamber Liaisons
meet the second Monday of each month at noon in our
conference room. Welcome Squad members meet at scheduled ribbon
cuttings and other events. The Membership Committee meets the
third Tuesday of each month in the conference room. If
you know someone who wants to learn more about the Chamber, tell
a Chamber Ambassador! If you want to meet new people and help
out other business people, plan to attend the next meeting of
the Chamber Ambassadors!
