Join
the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce as we work to improve
our environment and divert materials from landfills. Our
Recycling Exposition (REXPO) is held every January at our
Stockton Ag Expo. REXPO educates farmers, ranchers and
agricultural professionals about environmental friendly
agricultural practices, materials and tools. Numerous public and
private environmental organizations participate in our REXPO
every year.
The
Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce is the lead organization in
San Joaquin County to create jobs through the Recycling Market
Development Zone (RMDZ). The RMDZ is a state designation that
was created through AB 939 to stimulate job creation and the
manufacturing of products made with recycled materials.
At
this year’s 31st Annual Stockton Ag Expo, a three-day farm
show January 16-18, 2007, will be a “Recycling Expo” exhibit
located in Building 4 at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds.
The intent is to showcase products made from recycled
materials, and to exhibit the manufacturers of recycled products
as well as those companies that collect recycled materials and
divert them from the landfills.

This

showcase manufacturers of recycled products and alternative
energies; but will also present the Energy and Clean Air
Business Exposition. Energy and clean air companies will be
spotlighted, as well as feature speakers and car crushing
demonstrations.
Please
consider this opportunity to participate in the 3rd annual
Recycling Exposition in San Joaquin County. Through the
partnership with the second largest Agricultural Exposition in
California, it is certain to be successful.
