P³ Stewardship Award Nominations Wanted

May 2007 -- The Chamber’s newest Green program is soliciting nominations for the inaugural P³ Stewardship Award.  The REACON Team, which makes weekly visits to area businesses, provides among other services, businesses with the P³ Stewardship information on their visits. P³ Stewardship stands for Policies, Practices and Purchasing Stewardship.

Nominees should demonstrate that their business is “green” and implements green procedures at their place of business which would help the environment. A P³ Stewardship Award has been developed to recognize businesses that engage in green practices and will be acknowledged during the annual Small Business Awards June 7, 2007. In last month’s Port O Call, you should have received a nomination form for the 2007 Small Business Awards.  Each year, the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce looks forward to recognizing outstanding business professionals for their business achievements and contributions to our community. Please nominate an exceptional business professional for this honor awarded at the 2007 Chamber Business Awards Luncheon held at the Stockton Grand Hotel on June 7 at Noon.
