Chamber has a lot on Tap

 

June 2007 -- One highlight of our year is the Chamber’s Annual Installation Dinner. It’s the perfect opportunity to thank our hard working and dedicated board members and committee chairs for their exceptional contribution to our organization.

On Thursday, June 21, we’ll gather at Stockton Golf and Country Club to thank Charlynn Harless of Legacy Enterprises Insurance Services, Inc. for her outstanding performance as 2006-2007 Chamber President, and to welcome Richard Aschieris of the Port of Stockton as our 2007-2008 President.

Agri-Business Luncheon 2007

Stockton Ag Expo, a project of the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce, is pleased to announce its Ag Scholarship time again. These scholarships are awarded to those San Joaquin County high school graduating seniors who plan to continue their education in agriculturally related studies in college.

The honorees will be recognized at the annual Agri-Business Luncheon sponsored by the San Joaquin County Office of Education, and held on June 22, 12:30 PM, at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds. A total of $5,000 in scholarships is awarded to eight students by the following sponsors: American AgCredit, Bank of Agriculture & Commerce, Bank of Stockton, California Ammonia Co/CALAMCO, California Women for Agriculture and Stockton AgExpo.

You’re invited to join us in celebrating this special occasion at a barbecued tri-tip luncheon, followed by an afternoon enjoying the fair and horse races. Fairgrounds parking and admission to the Fair is included in the luncheon fee of $20. For more information, call 547-2960 before the June 15 deadline.

43rd Annual Industrial Technology Barbecue
