Stockton’s Newest Downtown Condos Ready to hit the Market

The grand opening of Stockton’s newest downtown condominiums will take place from 4:30 pm to 6 pm, Thursday, Aug. 9 at Parkside Condominiums, 339 W. Oak Street.

Nestled in a park-like setting, this beautifully remodeled development is part of the exciting redevelopment taking place in downtown Stockton and brings affordable, luxury living close to the Stockton ballpark, Arena, and downtown events and restaurants.

“With a price of $135,000, these one bedroom / one bath condos are perfect for first-time homebuyers, people who work downtown, investment buyers, and even athletes who would be within walking distance from work,” said Terry Hull, Jr., W.T. Hull Company, Inc. President and developer.

“We also see parents looking to help their children get into their first home to help them realize the American dream of home ownership,” he continued.

Each one bedroom condo has all new features such as a stainless steel full-size refrigerator and gas stove, new Berber carpet, laminate wood flooring, large walk-in closet, dual pane windows, and elegant crown molding throughout.

Beautiful, furnished models will be opened for guests to view and enjoy. Two very distinct furnishing ideas give a new buyer wonderful suggestions on how to decorate the condo. Condos will be open for viewing daily from noon to 6 pm.

The condos were completely renovated and upgraded by the W.T. Hull Company. This local company did the first condo conversions in Stockton in 1978. They have since developed other residential and commercial projects throughout the city.

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage is providing special financing for first time home buyers with the help of CALHAFA. This includes lower than market interest rates and down payment assistance from CALHAFA and the City of Stockton while available. With these special financial programs, even people with annual incomes of $25,000 to $30,000 could possibly qualify for purchase of a Parkside Condominium.

Brookside Country Club Ready to ‘Tee It Up For The Troops’

On Friday, September 7th Brookside Country Club will join more than 200 golf courses across the country in hosting tournaments to benefit American military personnel.

Played on the Friday closest to 9/11, the third annual “Tee It Up For The Troops” is a way to give back to those who protect our country. The money raised will go to the Wounded Warrior program and to Fisher House. Both organizations help troops and their families with expenses not covered by the military.

“We are very happy that Brookside is taking part this year,” said James Ball, founder of Tee It Up For The Troops, speaking from the Minnesota headquarters. “The level of interest is growing very fast.”

To date, Brookside is the only Northern California Club participating in Tee It Up For The Troops and we are confident that it’s going to be a great success. In addition to the Golf Tournament, which includes lunch, we will be hosting a Gourmet Dinner and Live Auction.

There are so many ways to be apart of Tee It Up:
