Local CPA wins Prestigious Award

OCTOBER 2007 - It is with great pleasure that the Greater Stockton Chamber of Commerce announces the selection of Susan Lenz as its 2007 ATHENA Award recipient. She is a partner of Iacopi, Lenz and Company, a prominent Stockton CPA firm. She is being recognized for her professional accomplishments, community service and her role in helping other women in the community attain success. This prestigious award honors outstanding professional women who encourage an environment where providing assistance, inspiration and mentoring to women is uniquely valued.

Susan was educated locally at Humphrey’s College where she received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Since that time, Susan has distinguished herself as a top local accountant, who’s capabilities as a CPA have earned her a high level of respect in the local business community. She provides outstanding service to her business and her community by developing a formidable CPA practice with drive, dedication and an entrepreneurial spirit. In addition to her busy schedule as a CPA, she was appointed as a Board Member of Lincoln Unified School District in 2004 and elected in 2006, highlighting an already active involvement with education. She has also served on several non-profit boards as well as acted in advisory capacities.

The ATHENA Award will be presented to Susan at the annual ATHENA Luncheon on November 15, 11:30 AM, at Stockton Golf and Country Club.
