OCTOBER
2007 - Are you aware that your membership in a club, organization,
church group or hobby can bring revenue to our community?
The
Stockton Conference and Visitors Bureau (CVB), is asking Stocktonians to
“Bring it Home!”
With
so many new and exciting things happening in Stockton it is the perfect
time for area residents to bring their group’s meetings, conferences
and events home.
Are
you a member of a club or association that holds regional, state or
national meetings or conferences? Do you serve on a Board or Committee?
Does your company hold annual meetings or trainings?
It
has never been easier and the staff of the CVB ready to help you
“Bring it Home”
The
“Bring it Home” campaign is an opportunity for local business
leaders and community members to help promote Stockton as a meeting
destination. The campaign concentrates not only on trade association
meetings but also hobby groups, fraternal organizations, alumni
organizations, and church groups.

the job of bringing your organization’s meeting to Stockton seems
overwhelming, don’t despair, we’re here to help. You’ll have the
assistance of our professional staff every step of the way. From finding
the perfect venue, getting the best rate on hotel rooms, coordinating
city/leisure tours, we promise we’ll do our best to make your event a

A
few points of interest to keep in mind when considering bringing a
meeting home are:
You
will stimulate the local economy by generating economic impact in the
form of traveler expenditures and local tax revenue.
Supporting
local business’s that cater to the conference and hospitality
industry, i.e. catering, audio-visual, etc.
