A Message from Chamber President Dennis Goldstrand:

Ambassadors a crucial part of The Chamber

NOVEMBER 2008  -  Our Chamber Ambassadors are an instrumental part of our connection with our valued members. They are the ones who bring The Chamber to the businesses.

These volunteers recruit new members, help orient the newest members and assist with member retention. The Ambassadors are divided into three committees: Liaison; Welcome Squad and Membership.

The Liaison Committee, chaired by Bob Hopper of Seasons at Modesto, personally visit and survey Chamber members on an annual basis. The surveys give members input on Chamber programs and improve the Chamber’s ability to serve its members.

The Welcome Squad, chaired by Gloria Blaine of Basket Caravan Gourmet Gifts, attend a variety of events hosted by the Chamber and its members.

These include ribbon cuttings, ground breakings and anniversary celebrations. Photos from Welcome Squad activities are published in every issue of the Port O Call.

Teri Manley is our staff coordinator for the Ambassadors along with her vital role of Membership Sales Consultant. I thank Teri, Bob, Gloria and all the Ambassadors  for their service to the Chamber.
